How to change a Sling TV Subscription plan

For only $10 (for the first month only), new subscribers will be able to enjoy all of Sling TV channels which includes live TV, sports, news, hit TV shows, movies, and even premium adds-on (though this comes with an additional cost). Asides from Sling TV channels, Sling TV comes with a DVR (Digital Video Recorder) feature that allows users to record up to 50 hours of their favorite shows and movies that can be watched later, rewind a particular show, or watch shows you missed. Then, for those who feel that migrating from cable TV means losing access to your local networks, it’ll interest you to know that Sling TV comes with some local networks, and some other popular channels like ESPN, HGTV, Food Network, RedZone, Lifetime, and Disney Channel.

Sling TV Plans

Sling TV has only two main packages – the Sling Orange and Sling Blue. Both plans cost the same ($35 per month). It doesn’t stop there if after going through the channel lists I’ll be giving today for both packages and you want to have it all then there is the option of subscribing to both plans but this will cost you a few extra bucks. Subscribing to both packages costs $50 per month.

Aside from the major packages, Sling TV offers some other packages that price differently from the major packages and have channels not included in the major channels. These other packages are known as “Premium Add-ons” and we’ll be talking about these other packages later on in this guide.

Sling TV Channels

Sling TV only has two packages (as at the time of this writing): the Orange and the Blue Package. The orange and the blue package do share some similarities but are different packages. For instance, you’d realize that you’ll find channels like Lifetime, CNN, Food Network, and AMC on both packages. Asides from the similar channels, they are two different packages with different channels. For instance, if you are looking for a subscription plan with local channels then the choice would be the blue package as Sling Orange does not offer local channels. For an extra $15 per month, you can have it all. This simply means that you can subscribe for both packages without having to miss out on anything just because it’s not available on your subscription plan.

Asides from the channels you’ll enjoy when you subscribe to either the Sling Orange or Sling Blue, there is the option of having additional channels that normally wouldn’t have been available through a package known as “premium add-on”. Adding these premium add-ons to your subscription plan costs differently from the normal subscription. As an example adding a premium add-on like Showtime or Starz costs an additional $10 and $9 respectively.

I’m sure at this point you are eager to know the channels that are available for each subscription plan. Then, continue reading to discover all the channels available in both subscription plans.
