The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is the name on every lip right now. Seriously, it is that popular. And suffice to say that the phone will be launching very soon, August 7th to be precise.
The Galaxy Note 10 is in a million ways the proper flagship we’ve come to expect from the Galaxy Note series. Its sharp edges would make it stand out from hundreds of other phones launched this year. And that, my friend, maybe a problem. What can we think of the Galaxy Note 10 design? Why isn’t it curvier or sexier? The truth is, regardless of what you might think, there are many people who dig this design language. So just relax and let’s talk about the impressive features instead.
As an aside, the Galaxy Note 10 may come in three versions: the regular Note 10, Note 10 Plus, and Note 10 5G.
The ‘Grand Master’
The Galaxy Note 10 has a lot of interesting tidbits going for it, to be honest, which has merited it the ‘Grand Master’ moniker from us. One of those things, as you might have guessed, is the camera.
Take it or leave it, this thing may have one of the best cameras you can think of in a phone. The main camera, a 12MP sensor, is rumored to have three apertures- f/1.5, f/1.8 and f/2.4. Each aperture might come into place depending on the scene, and the field-of-view being shot on. That would make for impressive photography, even in extreme conditions.
Another thing is the piezoelectric screen (Sound on Display) on the Galaxy Note 10. This means the phone will emit sound from its screen, making it ideal for listening to audio.
A 1TB internal storage and 12GB of RAM is one of the memory configurations we’ll find on the Note 10. And even at that, you still get expandable storage for the Note 10 Plus, if the rumors are true. We doubt if anyone will be needing the added alternative with that much storage.
The Galaxy Note 10 may also have an in-display fingerprint sensor, and water and dust protection.

Galaxy Note 10 Release Date
Note 10 will be launched at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York City. The official launch date is 7th August.
However, it may take some time before the phone gets into the hands of customers even after it has been announced. So expect it to be released around late August, or beginning of September.
Reservations can be made right now, until the launch date. But that’s only for US citizens. If you make a reservation, you can buy the phone on 7th August when it launches. But we have no idea when it will ship.
Galaxy Note 10 Chipset
For now, we are not sure which exact chipset the Note 10 and Note 10 Plus will be coming with. What we do know is that it could be either an Exynos 9820 (or 9825) or a Snapdragon 855 (or 855 Plus). A rumor had confirmed that it would be a Snapdragon 855 Plus or Exynos 9825.
In the usual manner of Samsung flagship phones, some models will get the Exynos chipset, while the others will get a Snapdragon. Either way, they may both be almost the same in performance.
Galaxy Note 10 Camera
It is known that the Galaxy Note 10 may come with three rear cameras, and a single front-facing camera, placed in a punch-hole. The punch-hole placement is what we’ve never seen before. A middle-of-display cutout, both for the Note 10 and Note 10 Plus. But the rear cameras are rumored to be the same with that of the previous Note 9. That means a 12MP main camera, 12MP telephoto camera, and 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera.
On the Galaxy Note 10 Plus, however, is where things get a little bit complicated. With some images suggesting the phone will come with three rear cameras, with same configurations as that of the Note 10, plus an extra Time-of-Flight depth sensor. Some other leaks seem to suggest that the Galaxy Note 10 Plus will have five camera lenses on its back, where one of them will be a ToF depth sensor. It did not state what the 4th camera will be.
The really interesting part is a leak which suggests that the main rear cameras for both the Galaxy Note and Note 10 Plus will have triple apertures which could switch themselves to take the best shots, depending on the field-of-view and lighting conditions. It claims the apertures are f/1.5, f/1.8, and f/2.4. This will be a welcome development if it really happens.
Galaxy Note 10 RAM and Internal Storage
It is rumored that the Note 10’s internal storage will start from 128GB, and its RAM will cap at 12GB, while the Note 10 Plus will consist of 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage options. The RAM will also max at 12GB, just like the Note 10. The Note 10 Plus may also incorporate an external memory slot, while the Note 10 may not.
Galaxy Note 10 Battery
Both the Note 10 and Note 10 Plus may come with 4,170 mAh battery according to one rumor.
On the other hand, it is also rumored that the Note 10, or its Plus variant, will have a 4,500 mAh battery. This is rather confusing, to say the least. But either way, we are sure of a beefy battery.
Galaxy Note 10 Price
The price may not start at 1,125 USD/999 EUR, except you’re getting the 256GB model. That’s according to a price leak. We have no idea about the price of the Note 10 Plus. But you can be certain it will cost more than the Note 10.
Other Specifications Of The Galaxy Note 10
The display features of the Galaxy Note 10 will not come short of the high standards. It is rumored to have a 6.66-inch display. The Note 10 Plus is also rumored to have a bigger 6.75-inch display.
Both the Note 10 and Note 10 Plus is rumored to have curved AMOLED displays, both will be HDR10+ compliant, and both will have 1440 x 3040 resolutions.
Their different color options will be Silver, Black, Pink, White, and Red according to rumors. The Note 10 Plus may add, on top of those color options, shades of Aura White, Aura Glow, and Aura Black.
The question of whether both phones will have headphone jacks is, well, still a question. Perhaps will continue to be till 7th August.
