News and reports about Motorola’s first pop-up selfie camera smartphone have been filtering in since early September, and now, we have concrete evidence it would be launching soon. Reportedly dubbed the Motorola One Hyper, the device has bagged several pre-release approvals including the NBTC and is now officially launching in Brazil.
A poster released by the Brazilian arm of Motorola suggests the Motorola One Hyper will become official on December 3rd. The poster doesn’t reveal anything else other than a sketch of the purported One Hyper with a pop-up camera system. Previous leaks suggest the One Hyper gets a rear fingerprint scanner
The device will reportedly come with a 6.39″ notch-less IPS LCD having FHD+ resolution, and a pop-up camera system housing a 32MP selfie camera, while the rear will come fitted with a 64MP + 8MP dual camera sensors. The rear camera is said to be capable of 4K video recording at 30fps, 1080p slow-motion recording at 120fps, and HD slow-motion recording at 240fps.
And under the hood, the Motorola One Hyper will reportedly come with a Snapdragon 675 processor with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. Power will be supplied by a 3,600 mAh battery, while it will boot Android 9 Pie out of the box.
