- Once you have inserted the name of the app, tap on Search (the magnifying icon).
- From the list of apps displayed with similar names, tap on the required app to open the listing. Although there are some apps you search for, it’ll take you straight to the app listing. This is possible those apps do not share a similar name with other apps (unique name).
- Tap on the three vertical dots found at the top right corner of your screen.
- Tap on the check box next to Enable auto-update to turn off the auto-update feature for that particular app.

Navigate through the apps on your mobile device and locate Google Play Store. Once you have found the app, open it.
- Tap on your profile icon found at the top right corner of your screen.
- Scroll down and tap on Settings (the gear icon).
- Under Settings, tap on Network preferences to reveal a menu.
- On that menu, tap on Auto-update apps.
- You’ll be provided with a list that includes: Over any network, Over Wi-Fi only, and Don’t auto-update apps. Tap on Don’t auto-update apps to turn off the feature for all the apps installed on your device.
