That Google will be announcing the Google Pixel 4a and Pixel 4a Xl in a few months’ time isn’t secret anymore. While the specs, features and specific launch date has yet to be officially detailed, we know a bit about the upcoming device, all thanks to a multitude of Pixel 4a leaks have emerged over recent months.
While we await the official launch date, the search giant turned phone maker has itself revealed details about the upcoming device. First spotted by Evan Blass @evleaks, the billboard reveals the Google Pixel 4a starting price while also reassuring us that the designs we have seen in the past are all accurate.
As per the billboard, the Pixel 4a has the same starting price as the Pixel 3a released back in 2019. That is $400, perhaps, for the 4G version of the phone. Reports have that two 5G enabled Pixel 4a are in the making, and that obviously will get a higher price tag. A leaked hands-on video review from earlier this week revealed that the Google Pixel 4a 4G model (with Snapdragon 730) will come with 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage (up from 4/64GB on the 3a).
Besides the Pixel 4a price, the billboard also revealed much about its design. Starting with the display front, a punch hole design is clearly visible, while alone camera with LED flash and a fingerprint scanner are visible from the flipside.
Pixel 4a release date, Pricing
The Pixel 4a has no definite launch date yet, but given that the Pixel 3a arrived in May last year, we assume the Pixel 4a will be officially unveiled later in May. It will start at $400 for the base model.
