Earlier this month, Huawei announced the Huawei Nova 7i as the first member of the Huawei Nova 7 lineup. While the device so far released only for the Malaysian market is a rebranded Huawei Nova 6 SE, a new report from out of China suggests that the Chinese brand might be launching more smartphones as part of the Nova 7 series in the coming month.
Expectedly, the report which first emanated from out of Weibo says the Huawei Nova 7 5G, a Nova 7 SE 5G, and a Nova 7 Pro 5G will all be launched in the coming weeks. Specifically, the Nova 7 smartphones will be launched at an event to be held shortly after the Huawei P40 launch in China.
And while we do not know much about the device at the moment, the report says the Nova 7 phones will debut in China on April 2nd, 2020. And speaking of expected specs, we have it on good ground that the said devices will come with one of Huawei’s 5G enabled phone – the Kirin 990 SoC. Other than that, the report also suggests the Huawei Nova 7 will feature OLED display, suggesting it will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Beyond that, we know nothing else about the upcoming devices. Speaking of the first member of the Nova7, Huawei Malaysia first launched the Huawei Nova 7i in the country earlier this month as a rebranded Nova 6 SE. And on a similar note, the Nova 6 SE also landed in Europe, Spain earlier this month as the Huawei P40 Lite.
We are not entirely sure if the Huawei Nova 7, Nova 7 Pro, and the Nova 7 SE will all launch as all new devices or rebadged devices. It’s still a whole month until the purported lunch, so a whole lot of information surely will pop out in the coming weeks. Do ensure you keep a tab for all the latest information.
