Disney has expanded its reach with the newly launched Disney + broadcast service. Of course, this means it is time to start a crazy rush to know how and where to watch your favorite Disney movies. Anyone with a Samsung TV will roam the internet to see if they can access the Disney Favorite Library, without the need for additional sticks or boxes. It’s a gamble about whether or not the new broadcast service will be available on Samsung TV, but Disney + is not a service you should worry about.
Currently, most of the content consists of the huge Disney library of pre-existing shows and movies. This includes newer content as well as Disney classics directly from Disney Vault. Of course, the original content is also part of the plan, and there are really some great exclusives to be found here – including the very popular Star Wars show, The Mandalorian.
Disney Plus is a tremendous value to consumers, especially families. Instead of paying individually for all of your favorite Disney movies or shows, Disney Plus gives you access to its entire library for a monthly fee. Disney Plus is also very aggressive with the addition of new upcoming Disney movies to her library relatively soon after she leaves theaters.
Signing Up
Signing up for a free trial is easy. Simply go to the Disney + website or download the app to your smart TV, mobile phone, tablet, or any other compatible device. After that, register or create your account. You will need to enter your payment information. The free trial is good for seven days. If you’re not a fan, be sure to cancel your free trial plan before they get you a standard subscription
Disney’s streaming service was one of the most anticipated services from the upcoming crop, but when it announced its initial lineup of supported devices, there was some notable absence.
Disney Plus will have access to hundreds of movies and thousands of TV shows from 90 years of content. This includes all the cool animated movies and live-action movies from the Disney brand, including Disney Vault full of classics such as Snow White, Cinderella, The Lion King, and many more. Disney will also feature all the Pixar movies that you know and love, as well as many Star Wars shows and movies. Marvel fans will find the majority of their favorite films, and there are also some TV shows from National Geographic.
Classic Disney Channel content is also available on Disney Plus. This includes shows like Duck Tales to Hannah Montana, with thousands of episodes and over 100 movies.
Disney Plus also has a number of family TV shows and movies from its recent Fox purchase. This includes the Simpsons, with all 30 seasons available starting from the first day of service.
Of course, not all of Disney’s service will be found, yet. Due to an existing contract with Netflix and others like HBO, some programs and movies will not make their way to service until soon after. Disney plans to move all of its content out of competition for the next few years.
How to Activate Disney Plus On Smart TV – Samsung TV
With the launch of Disney Plus in November 2019 in North America, Disney Plus is now available on Samsung TVs – plus Xbox One, PS4, Android, iOS, Chromecast, and more. You will need to make sure your Tizen OS is at least 2016. Given the choice of devices available to it, there may be few, if any, that cannot access the Disney Library.

- Subscribe to Disney +
- Turn on your Samsung TV
- Allow the TV to connect to the Internet
- From the Home screen, locate the Applications icon by swiping to the left
- Select “Recommended” or “Recent Applications” or search for “Disney +” in the upper-right corner of the screen
- Scroll to the Disney + icon and select it using the remote control
- Select “Add to Home” and install the application
- After installation, open the application and log in with the credentials you chose when signing up
How to Activate Disney Plus on LG Smart TV
