9mobile Data Plan FAQs
Data Plan Transfer
To share or transfer data, simply dial *229*Transfer Pin*Amount of Data You Want to Transfer*Recipient’s Number#. The default PIN is 0000 and you can change it by dialling *247*0000*New Pin#.
Note that, the maximum data you can send at once is 50MB and you can send it for a maximum of 5 times daily bringing it to 250MB while the minimum is 10MB at once. You must have a minimum data balance of 100MB to be able to use the transfer service.
Data Plan Gifting
You can send data as a gift to your friends and loved ones on 9mobile. To gift data, simply dial the associated data code with the bundle you want to send and add the person’s number before the #, for example the code for 200MB subscription is *229*2*10#. So, to gift someone the 200MB data, you need to dial *229*2*10*Recipient’s Phone Number#.
9Mobile Multi-Device Plan
This is a plan that enables users to clone their 9mobile SIM card into as many as four secondary SIM cards, which can be used on different devices while using the same data bundle as the parent SIM. Meanwhile, your main SIM is used to set up and manage the other SIMs.
9mobile data plan Internet Settings
Some phones possess an automatic browsing settings once a SIM card is inserted in them. Meanwhile, if you have issues with browsing configuration settings on 9mobile, you can simply text “SETTINGS” to 790, the configuration settings will then be sent to you, save it and activate as default settings and you can now enjoy your browsing.
You can also use manual settings if the automatic way didn’t work out for you. Go to Access Point settings on your phone and input this information.
