  2. Ensure you have both apps installed on your smartphone or device. If you don’t, you can easily download both from Playstore for Android users and Apple store for iOS users.
  3. Now open WhatsApp on your device.
  4. On WhatsApp, slide to the left. This action will take you to your status where you can create status and also view status updates uploaded by other individuals on WhatsApp.
  5. Now, create a Status Update (in doing so, you’ll be redirected to your phone’s gallery where you can select the content you want to post or you can also just write on your status, WhatsApp gives room for this feature).

How to Share WhatsApp Status Updates to Facebook Stories (New Updates)

  1. Go under My Status on the app.
  2. Tap on Share to Facebook Stories.
  3. You may be prompted to tap Allow or Open the Facebook App, if that happens, tap on Allow or Open.
  4. In the Facebook app, you can now select the audience you’d love to share your content with.
  5. Once all the modalities for the post have been done and it is ready to be shared on your Facebook stories, Tap on Share Now.

  1. Tap on My Status for iPhone users while Android users can tap on More (which is the three dots) by My status.
  2. Go to the status update your want to share and tap Share to Facebook.
  3. You may be prompted to tap Allow or Open the Facebook App, if that happens, tap on Allow or Open.
  4. In the Facebook app, you can now select the audience you’d love to share your content with.
  5. After the audience has been selected, tap on Share Now.
