Chinese smartphone maker Gionee is set to hit the Indian market after more than a year hiatus. The brand had back in February 2019 launched the Gionee F9 plus in the Indian market and has since then been off the market. Now, the brand is out with a teaser that reveals it will be launching a new device dubbed Gionee Max in the market soon.
Flipkart has started teasing the Gionee Max India launch. And as per the teaser page, the Gionee Max will be launched in the country on August 25th.
While the micro teaser page doesn’t reveal much, an outline of the device reveals the Gionee Max will rock a slightly large bezel with a water-drop for the selfie camera. The promotional page also suggests the device will come rocking a monstrous battery size of unknown capacity. while it evidently clear it will hit the market as a budget offering. Specifically, it will launch under the Rs. 6,000 price tag.
Gionee has yet to officially reveal more information about the upcoming Gionee Max. However, we expect more teasers and more revealing information in the days leading to the launch event.
While we are not sure of the Gionee Max entire specs, there are speculations the device could be a rebrand of the Gionee K6 recently launched in China. The K6 as launched in China is a budget device touting a large 6.2-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch atop for the selfie camera. It, however, packs a small 4,350mAh with 10W fast charging, while it boot the dated Android 7.1 Nougat OS out of the box.
