How to install Google Play on Amazon Fire Tablet

Today, I’ll be leaving this guide on how to install Google Play on Fire Tablet. The Fire tablets are the cheapest set of tablets that can be purchased today. Maybe because a Fire tablet released today would have the technical specifications that were standardized one or two generations back.

However, if you need a tablet that sells for $50 – $200 for you or your kids, the Fire Tablet would be a great option for you. The Amazon Fire HD 10 is the speediest and best Amazon tablet so far. It’s been refreshed for 2020 with a slightly better processor and 2-gigabytes of RAM. If you’re buying for your kids, the Fire HD 8 Tablet (8″ HD Display, 16 GB) – Yellow would be the best device for your kids. It has a larger, sharper HD screen, Dolby stereo sound, and dual speakers when compared to the fire tablet 7.

The Fire 10 kiddies’ edition can also be a nice option for the kids but its size is slightly enormous for little kids. Remember, the Kiddies Edition is the same as the regular Fire tablets however, they come with the rugged case and a two-year guarantee. This means Amazon will be happy to replace the fire tablet for free if your kids break it.

Installing applications on any new or old device is one way to enjoy your device. That flexibility is needed and believe me, you’ll want to explore that. It gets embarrassing looking for Play store on an android device and finding none. Although they have the amazon app store installed on the tablet, it doesn’t have most of the apps on the Google play store. Giving rise to the need for the Google play store on a fire tablet. If you’re having this as an issue, you’ve got no issue at all. I’ll be sharing on How to install Google Play on  Amazon Fire Tablet.

How to get Google Play Fire Tablet.

The first step you must take to install the Google play store on your tablet is downloading the Playstoreit. Since the Google play store isn’t available on the Amazon app store, you would be making your downloads from a trusted website on the internet. You would also be needing some other packages to run the Play Store properly in your fire tablet. You can download these APK files from any trustworthy source or the links we would be sharing below. These links to the required apps, kindly download all of them using the Silk browse on your Tablet;

Do note that a pop-up will appear with the warning – this type of file can harm your device whenever you attempt to download any of the files. Tap on “OK” when the pop-up appears. Repeat the same for all the files, and do not fret as they will do no harm to your device.

Next, you’ll need to activate some permissions on your device for it to accept the installation of these applications.

To do this,

  • On your Fire tablet, go to Settings > Security & Privacy, then tap Apps from Unknown Sources to enable it.

    • This will allow you to install APKS downloaded from the internet.
    • Finally, you’ll need to install the downloaded APK files.
    • Now, located the downloaded APK files located under Docs > Local Storage > Download.

Simply tap on each of the files we’ve downloaded one after the other to install. Order is important so install files in the same order it appears in our first step (ie. Google Account manager before the Google Services app and finally, the Google Play Store application).

Note: If the “Install button” is greyed out, simply lock the tablet and unlock it. It should now turn orange to allow you to install the APK files.

You should now see the Google Play app icon on your home screen. Tap it to open the Google Play store, and set off to install your favorite Google apps like Gmail, Chrome, and other apps. But just in case the Playstore appears not functioning at first, we recommend you give a couple of ten minutes, after which it is expected to get updated on the background. Things should become normal after the update
