The OnePlus 8 series of smartphones’ official debut is just around the corner. Much like every other flagship offerings from the Chinese phone maker, the rumor mill has been filled to the brim, churning out pretty much every detail we need to get a good idea of what to expect from the upcoming device.
From the design down to the internal configurations, previous reports already touched virtually every aspect of the upcoming Oneplus8 series. And now, the rumor mill has spilled the bean on one very important aspect of the phone – the expected pricing of the Oneplus 8 series.
All thanks to WinFuture – a tech publication with a good track record, we now have a good idea of what the Oneplus 8, and Oneplus 8Pro will cost in terms of pricing. While we would advise you to take this with a pinch of salt, it is common knowledge that last-minute leaks of this nature almost turn out accurate.
Starting off with the most specced of the duo, Winfuture report says the Oneplus8 Pro with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage could come with a price tag within the range of €1,009 or €1,019 (~$1,098/$1,109). That is a huge leap from the OnePlus 7 Pro 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage priced at $749. Again, the base Oneplus 8 Pro as per the report will also cost far more than the $669 priced OnePlus 7T Pro base model, with an expected price range of between €919 and €929 (~$1,000/$1,011).
And, of course, if you decide to opt for the Oneplus8, you are expected to churn out a little less than $1,000. WinFuture says the standard Oneplus8 will start at about €719 and €729 (~$782/$793), a steep increase from the Oneplus 7T ($579) released back in 2019.
