Infinix Note 7 and Note 7 Lite announced- Infinity-O display,5,000mAh battery and more..

Infinix mobile – best know for its affordable smartphone series especially in Nigeria, Kenya and India has today announced the launch of yet another iconic Infinix Smartphone. The brand has announced the Infinix Note 7 and Infinix Note 7 Lite. Both devices are the sequel to the Infinix Note 6 launched back in 2019, and the third device to be announced in a space of two months. The brand earlier this year launched the Infinix S5 Pro, the Infinix Hot 9, and here comes the Infinix Note 7.

While the Hot 7 and Infinix S5 sits in the budget price segment, the new Infinix Note 7 is a member of the brand’s flagship Infinix Note series.  Also announced alongside the Note 7 is the Infinix Note 7 Lite – a watered-down variant of the standard Note 7.

Infinix Note 7 and Infinix Note 7 Lite Design and Specs

The Infinix Note 7 and Note 7 Lite both share the same design – sporting a Quad-camera setup on the rear panel, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, as well as a punch-hole display. The standard Infinix Note 7  as expected, is the most specced of the duo. It comes flaunting a 6.95-inch 1640x720px LCD with a 16MP selfie camera housed in a punched punch-hole display.

It is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G70 chipset with an octa-core processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The Note 7 is powered by a 5,000mAh battery, and on the camera side, it packs a Quad camera setup with a 48MP sensor as the primary shooter. In addition to the main sensor is a 2MP macro sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, a dedicated sensor for low-light video, while it is rounded by a 16MP shooter with an f/1.8 lens in front.  It runs on Android 10 with XOS 6.0, powered by a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging through a micro USB port,  and comes with support for Face unlock.

Infinix Note 7 Lite

The Infinix Note 7 Lite, on the other hand, gets the same design, and virtually the same internals as the bigger siblings, though with some notable differences. First off, the Infinix Note 7 Lite flaunts a more compact 6.6-inch 1640x720px LCD with the same Punch hole design for a downgraded 8MP front camera sensor. It drops the G70 chipset for a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage.

The Infinix Note 7 has a gargantuan 5,000mAh battery with acceptable 18W fast charging. Software-wise the Note 7 runs Infinix’ own X OS over Android 10. It shares the same rear camera configuration with the Note  7 – a 48MP (primary) + 2MP (macro) + 2MP (depth), and a low-light video camera. Also unchanged is the 5,000mAh battery, though with slower a 10W charging.
