Chinese smartphone maker Oppo is set to bring a new Redmi Note to the Indian market. The brand’s official Twitter handle as well as its India head Manu Kumar Jain has teased the launch of the new Redmi Note 9 smartphone slated to take place on March 12, 2020.
Without revealing any details or even pointing out the identity of the upcoming device, the Redmi twitter handle tweeted; a new #RedmiNote is coming on 12th March! The tweet is accompanied by an image with which shows the number – 9 for the Redmi Note 9 with a quad-camera setup in between, suggesting the said device will come with a Quad-camera setup. The tweet also has the ProCamerasMaxPerformance hashtag, suggesting it will offer improved camera performance.
Separately, Amazon India has set up a dedicated teaser page for the smartphone suggesting that it will be an exclusive release for the eCommerce platform. The teaser page has the same image seen below, with the same March 12 launch date.
We do not have any specific details about the Redmi Note 9 at the moment. However, it is speculated that the Note 9 will tag alongside the Redmi Note 9 Pro. It’s still a few days until the phone launches, perhaps, more revealing teasers and images will pop out in the coming days.
