Realme 6 and 6 Pro with 90Hz Punch Hole Display, 64MP quad cameras announced for under $200

Chinese smartphone maker Realme has finally unveiled the Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro, despite the Realme 5 having been around for just 5 months. The company unveiled the devices at its launch event held earlier today in India. Other than the Realme 6 series, the company also unveiled the Realme Band – its first fitness band ever for about $20.

The devices, which are basically mid-ranger is a continuation of Realme’s drive to offer devices with high-end features at lower prices. Both devices bear the same device, and specs, except for a slight difference in the internals, with the  Realme 6 Pro obviously been the most specced of the duo.

First of all, the Realme 6 and 6 Pro both come with a Quad-camera setup on the rear, and hole-punch display design. The Realme 6 Pro, however, gets a dual selfie camera setup, while the Realme 6 has a single selfie camera.

The Realme6 comes fitted with a slightly smaller 6.5” LCD. That is about the same size as the Realme 5, but now features an upgraded FullHD+ resolution with a 90Hz refresh rate. It has Gorilla Glass 3 on top and a punch hole for 16MP F/2.0 selfie camera with a relatively large 1/3.1″ sensor. On the flip side, the device has a Quad-camera setup, aligned vertically. The camera consists of a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and 2-megapixel macro cameras. Unlike the RM5 with a rear fingerprint scanner, the Realme 6 has its scanner integrated into the power button.

On the inside, the RM6 comes with MediaTek’s latest chipset – the  Helio G90T coupled with  4, 6, or 8GB RAM, while the storage maxes out at 128GB.
