TCL issues invites for its MWC 2020 event, TCL 10 series expected

TCL was at the last CES 2020 where it unveiled a plethora of products including Alcatel, and TCL branded smartphones. While it has been involved in making Alcatel, and Blackberry smartphones for some time now, the TCL smartphone launched at the CES is a first for the company in its effort to capture more segments of the markets.

Specifically, the company introduced the Alcatel 10 smartphones at the CES 2020, though with specs details, availability, and pricing reserved for a later date. Now, the firm has officially issued press invites to its MWC event holding in Barcelona later in February.

The invites say the TCL MWC 2020 Global Press Conference will hold on Saturday, February 22nd, 2020 at about at 18:00 hrs. The date is a few days before MWC officially commences but that is a standard practice among manufacturers. The event will begin and should be live-streamed.

What to Expect from TCL’s MWC event

The brand at the CES event only revealed a bit of the TCL 10 smartphones, with the full unveiling set for its MWC 2020 event. So TCL will among other products unveil the TCL 10 series full specs details,  specific price points, and of course its rollout plans for these devices.

First introduced at the CES, the TCL 10 series is a set of mid-range devices comprising of the TCL10 Pro, TCL10L, and TCL 10 5G. And while the full details won’t be out until the MWC event, we do know that the TCL10 Pro is the big highlight of the trio. More details here.

Best Pick:  Huawei trademarks P300, P400, and P400 monikers, perhaps for 2020 P series.

Blackberry Phone?

Whether or not the brand will release a Blackberry branded smartphone is everyone’s guess. Although the brand already reportedly stated that there won’t be a new Blackberry in the first 2 quarters of the year, so we not likely to get a new BB phone from its MWC launch event.
