The Poco F1 was and is arguably one of the best value for money smartphone that ever exists. The device launched back in 2018 with the top-tier Snapdragon chipset and a number of flagship-grade specs which endeared it to the heart of a huge number of smartphone enthusiasts.
Nearly two years since it first debuted, and no sign of an imminent launch of the Poco F2. There have been a series of back and forth stories about the existence or otherwise of the device, but it does seem the Poco F2 will be happening soo according to a recent patent application.
The Chinese company Xiaomi has now trademarked the Poco F2 moniker, suggesting its official launch isn’t far off. While we can’t say how authentic the is, the firm right before the Poco F1 launch patented the Poco F2 moniker. While details of the said Xiaomi Poco 2 remains sparse, indications are that the device will be named Pocophone F2 in the Global market, while it will be called POCO F2 in the Chinese market.’
