The Lenovo owned Motorola which has stayed away from the flagship smartphone segment for a few years now may be coming back with a bang soonest. The brand’s President Sergio Buniac first dropped hints that suggest that it plans to launch premium flagship phones in early 2020.
Now, ahead of the February 2020 MWC in Barcelona, Motorola has sent out press invites to a launch event where it will unveil not just the much talked about flagship phone, but also alongside two other smartphones. The launch event is set to take place on February 23rd – just a day before the MWC proper. While the invite doesn’t expressly reveal what product is lined up for the unveiling, reports have it that the Moto G8 and G8 power which it failed to launch alongside the G8 Plus and G8 play might be in for unveiling.
Aside from the G8 Power, and G8 Play, reports also suggest the Lenovo owned brand will be unleashing a new Stylus supported device. The Mysterious device first popped up in leaked renders a few days ago with a few of its specs. The name, and of course the detail specs of the device are still unknown to us.
Notably, the brand might also officially unveil the rumored Motorola Edge plus at the MWC event. The Motorola Edge Plus, from all indications, will likely come launch under the premium segment, perhaps with a Snapdragon 865 phone at MWC 2020. The device already surfaced on the popular Geekbench database, however, details about the device are scant right now.
