The Galaxy S20 series leaks and rumors are coming in thick and fast. While there isn’t any official confirmation yet, reports say Samsung will unleash the S20, the Galaxy S20+, and the S20 Ultra. The latest leak involves Galaxy S20 camera details, as well, as the S20+ Geekbench listing.
The Galaxy S20+ Geekebench listing confirms the device will boot Android 10, perhaps, with One UI 2.0 out of the box, while it also goes further to confirm the device will get a whopping 12GB of RAM.
Bearing model number SM-G986U, the S20+ Geekbench listing says the device has the “Kona” motherboard, fueling speculations that it will come embedded with the Snapdragon 865 SoC under the hood. Expectedly, the S20 series will also be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 990 depending on the market.
Speaking of the Geekbench listing, the Galaxy S20+ pulled a total of 923 points and 3,267 points in Geekbench 5’s single and multi-core tests, respectively. These points may not be reflective of the actual performance of the device, as there are rooms for further software and hardware optimization.
Galaxy S20 rumored camera specs
A recently leaked specs sheet of the Galaxy S20+ 4G variant suggests the device will come flaunting a 6.7″ Dynamic AMOLED display, with a quad camera setup on the back panel. The camera is heightened by a 64MP sensor, coupled with two 12MP, and a ToF unit. For selfies and video calls, there will be a 10MP camera on the front. This clearly suggests Samsung is opting for camera optimization instead of going for higher Pixels. But it can’t resist the temptation for a higher pixel for the Galaxy S20 Ultra.
The ultra S20 as per the latest leak could come with a 108MP main sensor with 100x Space Zoom, which will be joined by a 48MP telephoto (10x optical), 12MP ultrawide and ToF modules. It is also tipped to come in 12GB and 16GB RAM variants, as well as in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options. The S20 ultra will be topped with a 1000mAh battery more than the S20+, and of couese with support for 45W fast charging.
The base Galaxy S20, on the other hand, is said to get a slightly smaller 6.2″ screen, 10MP selfie snapper, and a 4,000 mAh battery.
