Xiaomi’s India head Manu Kumar Jain first teased the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 India launch back in November, and while no specific date was revealed, several reports from India have now revealed more about the India launch date.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 which is the world’s first smartphone with 108MP Penta-rear camera setup first debuted in China as the Mi CC9 Pro, and later launched in Europe, and could be making it to the India market soon. Reports from India suggest the device could launch in India by  early 2020 with a price of around Rs 40,000.

Xiaomi hasn’t revealed any specific date, but there are indications the India launch isn’t far off as the company is running a Global Photography Challenge 2019 on the Mi India community under its Juror’s Choice Awards prizes. A total of 10 winners will emerge from the contest, and according to Xiaomi, each winner will go home with a free Xiaomi Mi Note 10. Winners will be announced on February 5, 2020, and that, is perhaps the time Xiaomi will launch the Mi Note 10 for the India market.

Speaking of the India price, Xiaomi stated that the contest price is worth Rs 46,832. This lines up with the Chinese and Australia price where the device retail for CNY 2,799, and AU$888 respectively. So we expect the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 to arrive at the India market at about  Rs 40,000.
