First spotted by the guys at Stuffing list, the leaked retail box of the Redmi K30 confirms the K30 monikers, but doesn’t give away much in the form key specs and features.
Outside of the leaked retail box, a live image of the Redmi K30 has also been revealed and goes a long way to confirm the previously leaked renders. It shows a Redmi K30 with a Quad-camera setup arranged in a decorative circle, with no evidence of a rear fingerprint scanner. The image doesn’t reveal the device from the front, but we do know that the device will drop the K20’s pop-up camera design for a punch-hole cutout for two selfie cameras. On the sides, it will flaunt the usual buttons and a capacitive fingerprint sensor.
We also have official confirmation that the device will be powered by the newly announced Snapdragon 765G SoC, 6.67″ display, and a 64MP main camera. Redmi a few days ago equally confirmed that the device will pack a slightly larger 4500mAh battery. The K20 for comparison sake has a 4000mAh battery, so this is a slight 500mAh larger than the predecessor.
A 30W fast charging which the brand claims can jack up the device’s battery in 1hour is also said to be part of the package. The Xiaomi sub-brand also notes that the 30W fast charging will get its independent charge pump with a charging conversion efficiency of up to 97%, while it will also support Quick Charge and USB Power Delivery.
