Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi will officially unwrap the much talked about Redmi K30 in China later today, but it’s unlikely to have any surprises in store as virtually everything about the device has been in the open. We do know there will be the Vanilla Redmi K30 with 4G connectivity, a 5G variant, and a Redmi K30 with 5G connectivity. The brand should also release the Redmi K30 Pro following the sequence if the Redmi K20 Pro, but it would seem today’s event will play dwell on the first two variants, while the Redmi K30 Pro launch might be delivered much later.
Reports from China suggest today’s event will birth the Redmi K30 5G, and 4G, while the Redmi brand might just announce few details about the device. To be clear, a new report claims the Redmi K30 Pro model will arrive officially in March 2020.
Details about the Redmi K30 5G and the 4G model have been frequenting the web for quite sometimes now. While it has been pretty confirmed the device will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 765G SoC which integrates a Snapdragon X52 5G modem, a few reports claim the Redmi K30 Pro will get the flagship Snapdragon 865 processor + Snapdragon X55 5G baseband.
