Oppo spin-off brand Realme is all set to hop on the 5G train in a couple of days, as it is now set to officially announce the rumored Realme X50 5G.
The Oppo backed firm earlier on Sunday revealed that it would make a special announcement today regarding the Realme X50, and here we have the most awaited piece. The firm in the early hours of today announced that its first 5G smartphone – the Realme X50 will be officially launched in Beijing on January 7, 2020. This line s up with certain rumor that claimed the device will launch sometime before the Chinese Spring Festival that is scheduled for January 25.
A teaser poster released by the firm once again confirms the device features a punch-hole design and has a dual punch hole for dual front cameras. It further says the REALME X50 5G is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G mobile platform. It integrates the X52 5G baseband and supports SA and NSA dual-mode 5G.

Realme in a previous teaser confirmed the X50 will get Oppo’s VOOC 4.0 fast charging that will bring its 4,000 mAh power cell to 70% in just 30 minutes. We also do know that the device will feature an 8mm 410mm³ diameter large liquid-cooled copper tube for heat dissipation 3.0 offering five-dimensional heat dissipation that covers all the heat sources 100%.
Realme X50 5G is rumored to come flaunting a 6.6-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, while some unconfirmed report has it that the device will get a 60-megapixel primary camera with Sony IMX686 sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter, and two 2-megapixel shooters (one for macro and one for portraits).
The Realme X50 5G, when launched, should compete favorably with the recently unveiled Redmi K30 5G. We should get to see some more details about the realme X50 in the coming day/week.
