Oppo sub-brand is on the verge of releasing a 5G capable smartphone with the Realme Brand name. Dubbed the Realme X50 5G, the Oppo spin-off brand had earlier confirmed the device could be launching soon, though with no specific date.
Now, a new tip from the company’s Realme product manager Wang Dere suggests the device will go official before the Spring Festival in China, which is on January 25. The top exec while reacting to comments on Weibo confirmed that the X50 5G will arrive before the Spring Festival.
Now, that isn’t a clear confirmation, but given that the Spring festival will hold on January 25, it is safe to assume the REALME X50 5G could launch in early or mid-January. Official specs details are largely non-existent, although some users asked whether the X50 5G will sport a 120Hz display, to which Derek responded by asking “If so, would you buy it?” Does that mean the X50 5G will boast a 120Hz display?.
Well, a leaked specs sheet from earlier this month says the Realme X50 will feature an S-AMOLED display of 6.44 inches that will offer a 90Hz refresh rate. The Redmi K30 already offers a 120Hz refresh rate, though it is possible the brand will launch a more advanced version with a 120HZ refresh rate.
