Last updated early in March this year, Chinese smartphone maker Oppo is all set to bring a new Oppo F series smartphone to the Indian market. The Oppo Indian division announced this earlier today via a video teaser posted to its official Youtube channel. The teaser which expressly teases the imminent launch of the Oppo F15 Smartphone has the slogan “Flaunt it Your Way”.
The teaser doesn’t reveal much about the Oppo F15, but it briefly revealed the device toward the tail end. At about the 26seconds clip, the video reveals the Oppo F15 with a water-drop notch, with what appears to be a curved metallic frame running around the phone with a shiny finish. The power-button with a matching color tone is also visible, while there appears to be an elongated camera bump that should house a vertically aligned rear camera setup.
Given the “kick-off 2020 with a new sleek F series smartphone” tag, the Oppo F15 obviously will land in the Indian market in the early days of 2020. Perhaps, at about the same time the F11 and F11 Pro arrived in the country – March 2020.
While there is no official word from Oppo about the official specs sheet of the Oppo F15, there are speculations the device will land in India as a rebranded version of the Oppo A91 launched in China earlier this month. The A91 flaunts a sleek design, and that is exactly one of the features the teaser highlights.
If the Oppo A91 does land in India as the Oppo F15, then we expect the device to come flaunting a 6.4” AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch, while it will be powered by MediaTek’s Helio P70 SoC. At the rear, the F15 should come with a Quad-camera setup consisting of a 48 MP main cam, an ultra-wide-angle shooter, a macro snapper and a depth sensor.
We should get more details about the Oppo F15 in the coming days, until then, do check out our Oppo news section here.
