Nokia C1

Nokia revamps the Nokia C lineup with the launch of Nokia C1

HMD Global following the launch of the Nokia 2.3 in Egypt a while ago has today revamped its old Nokia C-series with the launch of a new entry-level Nokia C1. Targeted at Africa, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific, the new Nokia smartphone is more or less a rebadged Nokia 1 plus, though this time with some few internal and inner differences.

As it is typical of most entry-level devices, the new Nokia C1 adopts a traditional smartphone design without any notches, hole-punch, or pop-up cameras.  Much like the Nokia 1 plus, the C1 gets a hole for the speaker at the back, a single rear camera with LED flash, while the Nokia logo sits below the camera. Other controls include a dedicated Google Assistant button on the left side of the phone, a MicroUSB port, Dual SIM support (nano only), an audio jack, FM radio, Bluetooth 4.2, and a MicroSD card slot (64GB max). It also has GPS and 2.4GHz WiFi.

Speaking of the specs, the Nokia C1 flaunts the same display at the Nokia 1 plus, and that includes a 5.45-inch FWVGA+ IPS display, while it is powered a quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and expandable memory up to 64GB with microSD.

Sadly the Nokia C1 boots Android 9 Pie Go Edition out of the box, and does not support 4G connectivity. It features a  single 5-megapixel camera with f/2.4 on the back of the Nokia C1, while you get a 5-megapixel selfie shooter on the front.
