The Huawei P30 and Huawei P40 will go down as one of the best Android smartphone ever marketed in the outgoing year 2019. Will the Huawei P40 come with much more improvements? Well, that is certain as early leaks portray the P40, and P40 Pro will come even much significant upgrades to stay relevant in the volatile market. While reports about the Huawei P40 series are already trickling in, and now e fresh report has suggest the device will be launched right in time.
Huawei is currently under a trade ban from the United States, and that makes it impossible to release the P30 and P30 Pro for most markets outside of China, as the same device only ship with Huawei Mobile services in place of GMS. The same fate awaits the P40, but that isn’t enough for the Chinese firm to back out.
Infact, a new report from China suggests the Galaxy S11 series will launch much earlier than the P40. Reports floating around the web already suggest the Galaxy S11 will, perhaps, go official on 18th of February 2020. Now that isn’t surprising, given that the S10 came at about the same time. For the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro, early reports say the device will be launched in Paris at the end of March 2020.
To make it clear, there isn’t any specific date tipped for the launch, however, the source says Huawei will again take to Paris at the end of March next year for the official launch of the Huawei P40. It will be a Global launch, but sadly, the device might once again be limited to certain regions including its Home Market -China.
Delving into details, a senor Huawei exec Richard Yu hinted that the P40 smartphones will boot Android 10-based EMUI 10 coupled with Huawei Mobile Services out of the box. Now, this means the in-house operating system, HarmonyOS isn’t coming to any Huawei devices just yet.
As for the design, the top executive says the Huawei P40 will come with a never before seen design as well as advancements in camera image quality, chipset performance and battery life. Official looking render of the device already started making the rounds, although with no significant revelation.

Not much else is know about the device at the moment, although there are speculations it could come with the same chipset that powers the Mate 30 – the Kirin 990 5G, while the upcoming Kirin 1000 will be reserved for the Huawei Mate 40.
