Not a lot has been revealed about the Redmi K30, but we do know the device has been on cards for Chinese brand Xiaomi for quite some time now. We got information and counter-information earlier this month that the device will be launching in December or January 2020, and now we finally have the authentic launch date.
As earlier confirmed by Xiaomi founder and CEO, the firm has today announced a December 10 reveal date for the Redmi K30. The confirmation comes from the General Manager of Redmi brand who took to his Weibo page to confirms the launch date. The Redmi K30 launch event is set to take place in China on December 10.
True to previous leaks, teasers, and rumors, the launch poster once again confirms the device with a full-screen design with a larger Screen-to-body ratio and a pill-shape punch-hole design for a dual selfie camera. It also reveals the device will be the brand’s first 5G smartphone with dual SA and NSA modes.
Previous leaks revealed that the device will come with a large 6.66-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, with an Adreno 618 GPU which suggests it could come with the Snapdragon 730 or a Snapdragon 730G. O course, the Chinese firm is expected to launch a Redmi K30 Pro variant with Snapdragon 800 series processor, just like the K20 Pro.
Redmi K30 Android 9
Sadly, the device is tipped to come with Android 9 out of the box, but with the company’s new MIUI 11 custom user interface. Other details relating to the Redmi K30 series are scarce at best, but we hope to see some aggressive teasers in the coming days,
