While there is still no official launch date, Oppo’s VP Brian Shen appears ready to take us on series of teasers leading to the eventual launch of the upcoming Oppo Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro 5G. Barely a day after the VP teased the Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G with emphasis on its thinness, the VP is back again with yet another teaser, but this time talking about the device’s battery size.
The VP in an early morning tweet revealed that the Oppo Reno 3 will come fitted with a 4,025mAh capacity. There is no information about the charging tech, but it would most likely come with one of the company’s fast-charging tech. The brand only recently released the Reno Ace with Oppo’s 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charger which is claimed to be able to charge the Reno Ace’s 4,000mAh battery in half an hour. Perhaps, the Reno 3 will get the same.
Speaking of the battery size, VP Brian Shen teaser only refers to the Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G, with no reference to the standard Oppo Reno 3, perhaps, the vanilla version will get a slightly downgraded battery size. Besides the battery size, the VP also confirmed that the Reno 3 Pro 5G is a dual-mode 5G supported smartphone.
In answer to some comments – OPPO Reno3 Pro 5G has a 4025mAh battery, matching users needs of power and speed even with it’s thickness of 7.7mm. 🤓

That’s all that has been revealed for now, but you can bet that there will be more official teasers between now and the official release.
