It’s been over two months since Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi CC9, CC9E and CC9 custom edition in China. The CC9e has since left the shore of China to the international markets as the Xiaomi Mi A3, and while we had thought the Xiaomi CC9 will debut in other markets as the Mi A3 Pro, Xiaomi has repackaged it for under the Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite moniker.
Yes, it has been confirmed that the Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite is the internation variant of the Mi CC9, and is set to launch in Spain soon. Xiaomi has confirmed via a poster on ints online form that the device lunches in Spain On September 16. The poster confirms that it will bring a 32MP selfie camera and a triple rear camera setup – one of which is a 48MP main shooter. Those specs lineup with the Xiaomi Mi CC9 specs.
The main camera is aided by an 8 megapixels ultrawide angle sensor and a 2 megapixels depth sensor, while it flaunts a 6.08-inch AMOLED with 1560 x 720 pixels screen resolution and a 19.5:9 tall aspect ratio which boosts an 85.8% screen-to-body ratio. Under its hood, the device houses an octa-core Snapdragon 665 SoC alongside 4GB/ 6GB of RAM and 64GB/ 128GB internal storage space. It boots Android 9 out of the box, although we are not sure the Mi 9 Lite will launch as an Android One device since the Mi A3 is an Android One device.
