Apple just announced its new premium iPhones, the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max. There are many interesting features across the three phones, most of which revolve around the new triple camera setup for iPhone 11 Pro. But the Chinese manufacturers like UMIDIGI prefers to take a bigger leap in camera system by expanding to a Quad camera and offering more features. UMIDIGI F2, the successor of UMIDIGI’s hot-selling phone UMIDIGI F1, will feature a Quad-camera set up with a dedicated macro lens as the latest leak.
A fresh leak attempts to reveal all of the UMIDIGI F2 camera specs, and besides the common triple camera setup like iPhone 11 Pro’s, a fourth camera, the 5MP macro lens is added to the F2. The small camera below the flash is for macro, it will mean being able to take close-up shots from just 2 centimeters away. Nature fans might use it to get detailed shots of small insects, or the pollen inside a flower. Tech fans are more likely to use it to get those close up details of the small ports and buttons on devices.
As the image above reveals, the main camera is a 48MP sensor of 1/2.0 inch in size, f/1.79 aperture, and 1.6μm(4in1) pixel. The top lens corresponds to a 5MP depth lens to provide portrait mode. The bottom unit is a 13MP ultra wide-angle shooter with 120 degree field of view.
The previous leak suggests that UMIDIGI F2 will come with the latest stock Android 10 and a notch-less hole-punch display. Apart from that, we’re expecting to see a 32MP selfie camera, a big battery and powerful processor with plenty of RAM to keep it running smoothly, and more importantly, all these specs at an affordable price. Currently, there are no launch date or price available and it’s rumored that the F2 will be launched at the end of September.
In the meantime, UMIDIGI’s new smart device UMIDIGI Uwake, which is the world’s first colorful Bluetooth 5.0 speaker with smart alarm clock, just kicked off sales on AliExpress at limited offer US$19.99. You can learn more about the Awake and buy it here.
