Huawei most powerful smartphone series – the Huawei Mate 30 series will be here in a couple of days. The Huawei Mate 30, and Mate 30 Pro are quite sure, but it appears a limited edition variant is in the offing too. Huawei in a recent teaser hinted that the Mate 30 will be joined by a high-end Porsche Design Huawei Mate 20 RS on the same day.

The firm back in 2018 also launched the Porsche Design Mate 20 RS variant alongside Mate 20 Pro series in London last month, so this year’s launch is basically an extension of the previous deal, And like the Mate 20 Rs, the Porsche Design Mate 30 RS will arrive as the most premium of the Mate 30 lineup. Though the company has yet to share details of the device, we are confident Porsche Design Mate 30 RS will retain the Kirin 990. The video teaser also hints at a unique metallic body finish with slightly different camera configuration than the regular Mate 30 series.

Outside of the Porsche branding and the few new additions, the Porsche Design Mate 30 RS will most likely share similar specs with the Mate 30 Pro variant. Recent reports suggest the Mate 30 Pro could come packed with a 4,500mAh battery with 40W fast charging support and 27W SuperWireless charge. It is powered by the Kirin 990 coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage. The software is covered by Android 10 OS and EMUI 10 UI on the top. It will be equipped with quad-camera rear setup. The device is IP68 rated and it won’t be having a 3.5mm audio jack.
