Rumors, and leaks about Honor’s upcoming flagship – the Honor 30 are beginning to gain traction. First came the confirmation that the Honor V30 will be the brand’s first Kirin 990 Powered SoC, then a separate leak of an image that depicts the front panel of the upcoming device.
Today, we have got some more hint that suggests the Honor V30 launch isn’t far off. This time around the hint is coming from an official launch – Honor’s official fan club where the company has a post seeking feedbacks users on the difficulties they experienced have had using the 5G connectivity. Down the post, the company says one fan will be lucky enough to get a unit of the Honor V30 smartphone – a device that has yet to see the light of the day for free.
Beyond the mention of the Honor V30, the company has yet to reveal some other details. But given that the post tals about 5G experience in China, it is plausible the Honor V30 will be a 5G enabled smartphone packing the Kirin 990 5G SoC. This lines up with previous rumors, though there are chances it will get a 4G base variant with the standard Kirin 990 SoC.
Like the Honor V20, the Honor V30 based on a leake from over the weekend is tipped to get a punch-hole design, but this time around, the V30 will be getting a Galaxy S9-like design – with a dual punch-hole at the upper-left corner of the display.
Honor V30 launch date
Sadly, we are not sure when the Huawei sub-brand will officially drop the device. However, it is likely the launch might not be far off, since a few teasers, and leaks are beginning to make the rounds. Speaking of a specific launch date, a tipster from China suggests the device might go official by October end, perhaps alongside a new Magic series, and Honor Note phone.
