Oneplus’ CEO shares upcoming Oneplus 7T retail box

Chinese smartphone maker Oneplus is all set to unveil the Oneplus 7T series of smartphones, and as is usually the case, we have been getting some healthy doses of leaks about the upcoming devices.  OnePlus CEO Pete Lau already shared a picture of the OnePlus 7T rear, so we have a good idea of what the device looks like in terms of design.

Now, with a few hours left before the official unveiling, the CEO has once again released an image of the device’s retail box. While the Box reveals the OnePlus 7T moniker, nothing much has been revealed around the smartphone’s design or specifications.
As noted by GizmoChina, the Chinese firm seems to be making a switch from its current two-piece retail box for its phones to a single color box. The Oneplus 6T and the Oneplus 7 series both come encased in a box with an outer white color and an inner box half in red.

We know that the OnePlus 7T will have three rear cameras and an in-display fingerprint scanner all thanks to a previous render from Pete Lau, but we don’t know what specs these snappers pack.

In general, we do not expect a radical change in design and internals specs given that not much has changed since the Oneplus 7 and 7 Pro landed. Early reports suggest the Oneplus 7T  and Oneplus 7T Pto will drop the SD 855 for the Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset. The T variant is expected to come flaunting a 6.5-inch QHD+ OLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and notch, while it gets a triple rear camera setup including a 48MP+12MP+16MP camera sensors. It will be fueled by a 3,800mAh battery feature with Warp Charge 30T charging. The Warp charge per the firm will reportedly jack up the device from zero to 50 percent in just 20 minutes, and a full charge in an additional 40 minutes.

The Oneplus 7T Pro gets similar specs with the vanilla 7T. However, it will come with a larger 4,080mAh battery and larger 6.67-inch QHD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, as well as 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage base model.
