Chinese smartphone maker VIVO has been on a launch spree since the past few months. The brand recently announced the VIVO Z5, VIVO Z5X in its homeland – China. Plans are also on to launch a the VIVO S1 in the India market, but just before that, the phone maker has decided to release a new device – the VIVO V17 Neo in Russia.
Interestingly, the VIVO V17 Neo is the same device we expect to launch in India in the coming days as the VIVO S1. So essentially, the V17 neo is a rebadged VIVO S1. The same device was also launched a few days ago in China as the VIVO Y7s.
The Vivo V17 Neo highlights a triple camera setup, massive battery, water-drop notch display, gradient design, among other things. In Russia, the device retails for RUB 19,990, and that translates to $315/€285.
VIVO V17 Neo Specs
Painted in Pearl Blue and Brilliant Black that features attractive diamond-cut design, the VIVO V17 Neo is fitted with a 6.38” Super AMOLED FHD+ display with an under-display fingerprint scanner, a waterdrop notch, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, with a screen-to-body ratio of 90 percent. And on the flip side, the device has the same camera setup as the VIVO Z1 Pro – 16-megapixel Sony IMX499 primary lens, a wide-angle lens of 8-megapixel with a field-of-view of 120 degrees and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the display front, there is a 32MP camera for shooting selfies.
It is powered by the Helio P65 chipset with Octa-core CPU with 6GB and 128GB of storage, while it is powered by a 4500mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
