The long-rumored Galaxy A90 could be nearing its official launch. The device alongside another unreleased Galaxy phone – the Samsung Galaxy A91 has been listed on the company’s official Hungary website hinting at an imminent launch.
While the listing doesn’t detail the specs and feature of the device, it does reveal very important key specs. The listing isn’t actually for the Galaxy A90 and A91, but for Samsung’s 45W USB Type-C charger with USB Power Delivery 3.0 with Programmable Power Supply (PPS). And if that sounds familiar, that is because the recently unveiled Galaxy Note10+ comes with 45W ‘Super Fast Charging 2.0’, while the standard Note 10 makes do with a 25W fast charger.
Now, Samsung has listed the aforementioned devices among the list of Galaxy phones that supports the 45W Super Fast Charging. Notably, the listing says the Galaxy A91 will be the only Samsung phone beside the Galaxy Note 10+ (and its 5G variant) to support 45W fast wired charging. And for the Galaxy A90 5G, that device will make do with a 25W wired charging similar to the Galaxy Note 10.
Sadly, Samsung has yet to announce an official launch date for these devices. However, there are speculations these devices will arrive sometime in October.
Samsung Galaxy A91
Both Samsung Galaxy A90 and A91 are rumored to sport a large 6.7″ display. But while the A90 is said to feature a waterdrop notch, the Galaxy A91 is said to get an Infinity-O design for a centrally placed in-screen camera similar to the Note10/Note10+. It is also reported that these devices will be powered by the SD 855+, and will come fitted with triple camera setup. Camera details are still scarce, though it is reported that they will both come with ‘Tilt OIS’ technology.
