The last few months were ridden with the Galaxy A90 leaks. The device that was earlier rumored to launch moths month ended up as the Galaxy A80 with a sliding camera mechanism. The A90 isn’t forgotten though, the device is still very much in the making. In fact rumors say there will be a Galaxy A90 and Galaxy A90 5G.

Popular leakers OnLeaks and Ice Universe both back in June rekindled leaks about the upcoming device when both tipsters revealed that the Galaxy A90 will be Samsung’s first mid-range device to get the next generation 5G connectivity. Yes, you heard that right, a 5G variant of the A90 is in the offing, and so is a regular 4G variant.

The leaks had earlier suggested the 5G variant will come with un unknown battery size, with support 45W fast-charging. Now, the Galaxy A90 5G has shown up the Wi-Fi Alliance database for certification. This suggests that the device will be launching

Listed with the model number SM-A908, the listing has it that the device will launch running Android 9 Pie out of the box. Also, the B in the model number suggests the Galaxy A90 with the number SM-A908B could be launching in international markets including – the EU inclusive, while the A90 with the number SM-A908N could be restricted to its home market.

Galaxy A90 Previous leaks

Based on previous leaks, the Galaxy A90 is expected to come with a Snapdragon 855 chipset, and a 6.7-inch display with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Both devices are rumored to come with a triple camera setup comprising of a 48-megapixel main sensor, as well as an 8-megapixel and 5-megapixel cameras for the 5G variant, while the none 5G version will get additional 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors.
