The Redmi Note 8 Pro isn’t the only 64MP Quad-camera smartphone that will be hitting the market soon. OPPO spin-off brand Realme at the Realme 5 and 5 Pro event confirmed it has such smartphone with the Realme XT moniker in the making. And just a few hours ago, we got hints that Realme will be hosting a launch event in China on September 4, though we never had any clue what the event was all about.
Now, the company via Xu Qi Chase – its CMO has released the first-ever official image teaser of the Reame XT with a Quad camera setup. The device seen below has a similar look with the Realme 5 family, but this time in a white snow color. It gets a glass back with reflective patterns in White color.
Indications are that the device will get an AMOLED display much like the Realme 5 Pro, as it has no fingerprint scanner. Realme has yet to reveal the front design, so we are not certain if the device will get a Pop-up camera or a water-drop notch.
The design aside, the camera specs will largely be the device’s main selling point. And speaking of that, we do know that the Realme XT will take on the upcoming Redmi Note 8 Pro with its 64MP camera. And that is the same Samsung’s latest ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor and is said to come along with an ultra-wide-angle shooter, macro lens and a depth sensor.
And for the launch date, Realme has yet to officially release a statement regarding that, but more clarification regarding the launch date.
