Realme is all set to storm the Chinese market with a brand new Realme Q series in the coming days. While the firm’s CMO already confirmed that the launch event will be the launchpad for a total of four new products, rumors have it that the Realme 5 Pro which it launched in India just recently will be the star of the China show, but under the Realme Q moniker.

Now, ahead of the launch which takes place on September 5th, the company has started drip-feeding us with some salient info. The first teaser off from the company says the Realme Q will be powered by the very same SoC in the Realme 5 Pro – the Snapdragon 712 SoC. That doesn’t confirm our suspicions, but its a pointer.

Realme XT, RealmeQ, and Realme 5 Pro

If the Realme 5 Pro does indeed reach China as the Realme Q, then the vanilla Realme 5 might be branded Realme Q Lite. And speaking of the other two devices that make up the bunch, Realme has also been actively teasing the Realme XT which is its first 64MP camera smartphone, and that device might get a lesser specs sibling, perhaps with same internal, but with a 48MP camera.

The Realme XT isnt a secret anymore. The brand already sent out review copies, and so we know quite a lot about it.
