The OPPO Reno 2 launches on August 28, and as expected more leaks, rumors, and confirmed info are coming to the limelight. It was earlier confirmed that the series will come in three variants – OPPO Reno 2, Reno 2Z, and Reno 2F. Possible specs for both the Reno 2 and Reno 2Z were posted earlier, and now, we have alleged specs of the OPPO Reno 2F.
First off, the OPPO Reno 2F retains the quad-camera setup on the Reno 2 and Reno 2Z, but unlike the Reno 2, 2F ditches the shark fin-style selfie camera for a pop-up module raising camera which it shares with the Reno 2F.
The camera includes a 48MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 main sensor assisted by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle and two 2MP sensors with design filters. Notably, the device will feature a 10x digital zoom with an Ultra Night Mode 2.0.
According to the leak, the OPPO Reno 2Z features 6.53″ FHD+ AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and a fingerprint reader embedded in it. And under its hood, the Reno 2 series is powered by will be powered by an Helio P70 SoC paired with 8GB RAM, and 128GB of storage onboard, expandable up to 512GB using MicroSD card.
OPPO Reno A
Similarly, the brand is also rumored to be working on a new member of the series dubbed the OPPO Reno A. However, the Reno A won’t be as capable as the Reno 2 series. The device is said to come flaunting a 6.5-inch FHD+ touchscreen with the Snapdragon 710 SoC. The rear cameras are now in a tri camera arrangement comprising of – a 16 MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2 MP depth sensor, while on the front you get a 25 MP selfie snapper with f/2.4 aperture.
