The Oneplus 7 and Oneplus 7 Pro are only a few months in the shelves and is no doubt still flying off the shelves in its numbers. But for those mulling picking up a unit of the devices, we advise you put that on hold, as the brand could be releasing a more capable variant soonest.
Reports flying around suggest that last year’s Oneplus 6T might be getting a successor soon. And as expected, the successor will arrive as the Oneplus 7T. But much like the Oneplus 7 series, the T variants will be coming in pair – a Oneplus 7T and a Oneplus 7T Pro.
Both devices are billed to go official on September 26, though that date has yet to be officially confirmed. Now, ahead of the purported launch date, details and renders of both devices are beginning to pour in. The Vanilla Oneplus 7 has surfaced in a leaked render, though we had already been treated to leaked renders of the Oneplus 7T pro.
Interestingly, the render shows a purported Oneplus 7T with a circular ring on the rear panel that is home to its rear camera setup. There are a total of three cameras within the circle, though not arranged to conform with the circle. Instead, the company opted for a horizontal manner with a flash located below the center camera. Do note that the render comes from an unofficial source, but one that has proven to be trustworthy in the past few years.
Details of the cameras are not yet in the open, however, the device is already an edge over the Oneplus 7 since the later feature just a dual-camera setup.
On the display front, it would seem the brand will be retaining the Oneplus 7 design. From the renders, we can see a notch, while there are speculations it could come with as large as 6.5-inches.
Elsewhere, the Oneplus 7T has its power button, alert slider and the volume rocker on the right and right-hand side, while the volume button on the left. There are a USB-C port, a SIM card tray and a speaker on the bottom, along with an earpiece and microphone on top of the phone.
Lastly, tipster onleaks also claims the Oneplus 7T will be getting a McLaren edition similar to the Oneplus 6T McLaren edition. We are not sure when and if the Oneeplus 7T and Oneplus 7T Pro will arrive, though rumors suggest September 26, no official words yet regarding that.
