Huawei’s smartphone subsidiary Hor is set to expand its smartphones lineup with the introduction of a new Honor phone in the coming days. The brand has scheduled a launch event for September 4th in China for the said launch. And no, the company isn’t introducing something entirely new, rather it is just expanding the Honor 20 series with the addition of Honor 20SE.
Just recently, we got hints that the Honor 20 series will be getting a new member – the Honor 20s, and now comes news of the imminent launch of H0nor 20SE. We are not sure both devices are the same devices destined for different regions – China for the 20SE.
Whatever the case is, official details will be revealed on September 4th. Speaking of the Honor 20SE, the brand has yet to divulge details regarding it. However, there are feelers that the said Honor 20SE might be the same Honor YAL-AL50 and YAL-TL50 that surfaced on TENAA a while ago.
Honor 20SE Specs
Looking at the TENAA listing, the alleged Honor 20SE with the YAL-AL50 and YAL-TL50 model numbers will come flaunting a 6.26″ FHD+ display with a punch hole in the top-left corner for a 32MP selfie camera. Under its hood, the device gets a 2.6 GHz octa-core processor coupled with 12GB of RAM. The SoC is thought to be the Kirin 980, though that is largely unconfirmed.
Around the back, the device gets a triple setup comprising of a – 48MP, 8MP, and 2MP units. The smartphone packs a 3,650 mAh battery and has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Detailed pricing and availability will be announced at the event.
