A recent Canalysis report reaffirmed Xaiomi as the leader of India smartphone market for the 8th consecutive quarters. The Chinese brand is closely followed by Samsung which earlier this year revamped its budget smartphones series in a bid to catching up with Xiaomi.

The Galaxy M and Galaxy A series of Samsung phones have so far proved popular in India, but it isn’t a match yet for Xiaomi. So, the Korean brand still has a lot to do if it must catch up with the current market leader. The brand is, however, leaving no stone unturned as there are still a couple of Galaxy A and M series smartphones that will be flooding the market soon. Not only is Samsung having plans to churn out more devices this year, but the brand is also already setting the stage for the coming year -2020.

The Galaxy A series which are sold in India via offline and online channels currently has the Galaxy A80 as the top member, but there are reports of an incoming Galaxy A90, though we are not sure how soon Samsung will be dropping this. Besides the A90, we’ve now heard words about a number of Galaxy A series of smartphones that the Korean giant might be releasing later in 2020.

According to a recent Trademark filing,  a number of the 2020 Galaxy A series of smartphones will derive their names from existing members of the series. As per trademarks filed by Samsung with the European Union Intellectual Property Office and spotted by Dutch site LetsGoDigital. Samsung will be releasing the Galaxy A11, Galaxy A21, Galaxy A31, Galaxy A41, Galaxy A51, Galaxy A61, Galaxy A71, and Galaxy A81.

The list suggests Samsung has no plans for Galaxy A91, and that raises doubt as to whether or not there is a Galaxy A90 in the works.
