Xiaomi on Monday announced the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A – sucessor to the Redmi Note 4 series  as the first member of the Xiaomi Redmi Note series .Th new Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A focuses  on selfies, good build quality, good screen.good battery life and most of all  affordability.

Parading a sleek metal unibody designs with  rear antenna bands, single camera setup as well as capacitive  buttons , the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A is available in three variants – a Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of storage without fingerprint scanner, a Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A with 3GB RAM ,32 GB storage with fingerprint scanner as well as  a higher end Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of storage also with Fingerprint scanner (All are expandable) .

Running on Android 7.1 Nougat with the latest MIUI 9 , the  Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A  comes with  a 5.5-inch HD display , 13MP rear camera , 5 MP front facing camera and powered  a Snapdragon 425  for the 2GB RAM versions , while the other two versions with 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM both comes with 16MP front facing camera ,13mp rear camera and powered  by Snapdragon 435 .

All variants of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A comes with a dedicated dual nano SIM slots ,  microSD support and are all lighted by a non removable 3,080mAh battery .

You can buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A  from August 22 in China in Champagne Gold, Rose Gold and Platinum Silver colors at various price points .

While the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A with 2GB RAM will retail for 699 yuan (US$ 104 / Rs. 6,720 approx.) , the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A with 3GB RAM  will go for  899 yuan (US$ 134 / Rs. 8,645 approx.) and the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version costs 1199 yuan (US$ 180 / Rs. 11,530 approx.).
