HMD Global the Finnish firm now in charge of Nokia branded phones, is expected to hold a MWC press event on February 26 in Barcelona where it will show case the Nokia 6 to a global audience .
Besides the Nokia 6 , the finish company according to our sourceis also poised to release two other Android branded phones plus a 2017 version of the ever rugged Nokia 3310.
The Nokia 5, if rumors to turn out to be true ,will retain the Nokia 6’s chipset – a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC , but with smaller 5.2 inches at 720p display , reduced 2GB RAM a 12 megapixels main camera sensor.
Not much has been revealed of the Nokia 3 , but it is believed to be an entry level phone and will come with €149 price tag while the Nokia 5 will be priced at €149 .
Last on the list of Phones expected from HMD MWC press briefing is a feature phone which is a supposed reincarnated version of the ever famous Nokia 3310 .
We not sure what specs the new Nokia 3310 will bring to the table , but for the uninformed , the Nokia 3310 was first released before the Android era back in 2000 where it was reported to have sold in over 100 million units, partly due to its rugged nature and most importantly to its long lasting battery capacity.
The Nokia 3310 will go for €59 – a price point enough to win over nostalgic former owners for use as a second phone.
