Aside announcing the Acer Swift 7, Acer Spin 7 laptops, and the rugged Acer Predator 2X at IFA 2016 in Berlin, Acer also unveiled two affordable Smartphones(Acer Liquid Z6 & Z6 Plus) and a 7″ Acer Talk S.
Both Acer Liquid Z6 & Z6 plus are the successor to last year’s Liquid Z5 and comes with ample upgrades to warrant you considering either of them. The Acer Liquid Z6 & Z6 plus are two similar devices ,but the Z6 is on the bottom of the Specs pyramid.
You can get more info about the Acer Liquid Z6 Plus while we focus on the Liquid Z6 here.
Unlike the larger Liquid Z6 Plus ,the Acer Liquid z6 is embedded entirely in a plastic body.
The device flaunts a 5-inch 720p display and powered by a 1.25GHz Mediatek quad-core MT6737 SoC paired with just 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage ,expandable via microSD slot.
For Photography ,the Acer Liquid Z6 has an 8-megapixel sensor at the rear, and a disappointing 2-megapixel sensor upfront for selfies.
The Acer Liquid Z6 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box ,but again there is a disappointing 2,000mAh battery which obviously wont be able to meet the needs of power hungry users.
